1. About these terms

We try to keep these terms short and plain. If anything is unclear, write to hello@alpacawalks.ie and we'll explain.

2. What we offer

Alpaca Walks provides guided alpaca walking experiences and related meet-and-feed visits at our farm in Loughglynn, Co. Roscommon. Visits include a guide for the duration of the walk, time with the alpacas, photo opportunities, and a small refreshment of coffee and ice cream.

Details of each experience (duration, what is included, and pricing) are shown on the Experiences page and at the booking step on the Book page. Where pricing is not yet finalised on this website, the price will be confirmed in writing before your booking is finalised.

3. Bookings and confirmation

All visits are by appointment. When you submit an enquiry through the booking form we treat it as a request, not as a confirmed reservation. We confirm bookings in writing — usually by email — within one working day.

A booking becomes binding only after we send you a written confirmation that includes the date, party size, experience and (where applicable) the total price.

4. Visiting the farm — what we ask of you

• Follow the guide's instructions at all times. We may end a visit early without refund if alpaca or visitor welfare is at risk.
• Children must be supervised by an accompanying adult throughout the visit.
• Wear sturdy footwear suitable for grass and forest paths.
• Please don't feed the alpacas anything other than the food we provide.
• Out of courtesy to other visitors and the animals, please don't bring dogs or other pets onto the farm.

5. Cancellations, rescheduling and refunds

We understand plans change. Please tell us as early as you can — we'll always try to reschedule before refunding, especially in poor weather.

Specific terms (cancellation windows, deposits, and any non-refundable amounts) will be confirmed in writing with your booking before any payment is taken. You retain all statutory rights as a consumer under Irish and EU law, including the Consumer Rights Directive (Statutory Instrument 484/2013).

Bad weather: we may need to postpone if conditions are unsafe for the alpacas or for guests. In that case we'll offer a new date at no extra cost.

To cancel or change a booking: email hello@alpacawalks.ie with your name, the original date, and the change you'd like.

6. Animal welfare and personal responsibility

Alpacas are gentle but they are still live animals. You take part in our experiences at your own risk. You agree to follow the guide's instructions and to disclose any relevant health or mobility issues at the time of booking so we can prepare for your visit.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot be limited under Irish law.

7. Website content

The content of this website — including text, photographs of our alpacas, illustrations and design — is the property of Alpaca Walks or used with permission. Please do not republish it without our written consent. You are welcome to share photos you take during your visit on your own personal channels.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms occasionally. The current version will always be available at this URL, with the most recent update date shown at the top.

9. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. If a dispute arises that we cannot resolve directly, the courts of Ireland will have non-exclusive jurisdiction. You also keep the right to bring the matter before the European Consumer Centre or a competent consumer-protection body.
